The ‘Den & Nook’ for learning and recreational activities.

Many parents will appreciate the difficulty of balancing school hours with work or other family commitments. Wherever possible, we try to offer a wrap-around care service, so children can be dropped off with us for breakfast, taken to school by a friendly member of our team. At the end of the day, we will collect your child from school and they return to the club for play, relaxation and their tea, until you can collect them.

We offer holiday care for 4-11 year olds in each of the school holidays, we will offer a range of activities during the day for the children including trips out to the local attractions.

Breakfast club is from 7.30 – 8.30 and consists of a selection of cereals or toast. After breakfast club a member of staff will take the children to school.

The Den

The Den is full of different activites where the children can play as part of a team or as individuals.  There is a range of board games suitable for all ages, table football and a pool table. They have use of the tv to sit, relax, watch a selection of DVD’s or they can plug in the Wii and off they go. Music is also available at all times so the children can express themselves through movement and singing.

The Nook

The Nook is our calm room which has lots of different activities set up.  We have a book nook so the children can lose themselves in a story, either their own, ours or a school reading book.  We have a space which provides a brilliant opportunity for the children to do homework with a member of staff , who will give help and guidance. We have a creative area which consists of different types of materials, pens, paint, chalk, glitter etc. so creative fingers can get to work.  There is a lego station, where models can be made or played with, and left to continue another time.  The dressing up area is where children can put on a new outfit and become a different character, expressing themselves through role play. There is also a dolls house, trains, barbies, action men, jigsaws, bricks and much more so your child will always have something to engage them.
